The Humane Society of Boulder Valley is seeking an experienced facilities manager to ensure the facilities, grounds, equipment and vehicles of the Humane Society of Boulder Valley are maintained and ready to serve the pets and people of Boulder and Broomfield counties. The Facilities Manager plans, budgets and schedules facilities modifications including estimates, bids, contracts, labor and material requirements. He or she coordinates the physical set-up and breakdown of HSBV events and oversees Boulder County Sheriff’s Office inmate work crew projects, facilities volunteers, and community service workers assigned to perform maintenance duties. The successful candidate will enjoy working independently to proactively identify and address facilities, grounds, equipment or vehicle needs but will also enjoy working closely with HSBV's events coordinator, volunteer coordinators and leadership team to ensure maintenance projects and special event needs are identified, prioritized and completed in a timely and effective manner. This individual must possess strong project management skills as well as a willingness to roll up their sleeves and serve as a first responder to facilities and maintenance needs. Candidates must be available to work occasional evenings and weekends for special events, and they must maintain availability after hours to respond to urgent maintenance needs. The Humane Society of Boulder Valley (HSBV) is seeking an enthusiastic, team-oriented individual for the position of part-time Behavior and Health Associate. Behavior and Health Associates support the Behavior and Health Department in the administrative duties related to HSBV's evaluation, rehabilitation, foster, adoption, and transfer programs. Behavior and Health Associates respond to department communications, maintain animal medical and behavior records, administer vaccinations, maintain the department schedule, assist with euthanasia, and perform other duties to support the Behavior and Health Department. This position requires weekend and holiday availability as well as the ability to work eight to ten-hour shifts: 8:00 am - 7:00 pm on weekdays and 7:00 am - 6:00 pm on weekends.
