ADOPTION UPDATE:
First-come, first served with our digital queue!
Thank you for your incredible support of the animals and continued patience as we navigate this high demand for our adoption program resources! In an effort to serve our clients in a more efficient and fair manner, the Humane Society of Boulder Valley has decided to assist clients with adoptions through a first-come, first served model.
We are still adhering to social distancing and other health guidelines to keep you and our staff safe. To limit the number of people in the building, we ask that you join our digital client queue during business hours to meet our adoptable pets. We are still open seven days a week to help you find a new addition to your home. Our Adoption Center hours are Monday through Friday, from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., and Saturdays and Sundays 11:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.
During our business hours, please use the button below to start the queueing process from home by entering your information. Upon arrival at HSBV, if you pre-registered for our digital queue at home, you must scan the QR code posted on our Adoption Center doors or in our Barking Lot to check-in to activate your place in line. For walk-up addition to our queue, simply scan the posted QR code and enter your information to activate your place in line. Once you have activated your place in our digital queue, you will receive a text notification with your position in line. If you are unable to scan our QR code, please call our team at 303-442-4030 x390 upon arrival at HSBV and they will add you to our queue.
Until we are able to start your visit, we ask that you remain socially distanced from other clients outside or in your car. A member of our Adoption Team will then notify you via SMS text messaging when you may come into the building. In an effort to prevent unnecessary delays, you must be available within 5 minutes of being contacted in order to keep your place in line. We are still only permitting clients to meet with one species of animal (dog, cat, or small animals) and only two animals per visit. We also encourage client to bring no more than two additional people with you to your visit.
