Introducing the Face of Puttin’ On The Leash 2026

Ziggy joined her Boulder family seven years ago having been rescued off the streets of Houston. At age six, she was very thin and had lost a lot of hair, but with help from her vet and love from her guardians, she recovered fully. Ziggy’s favorite things are her two daily walks. She knows her routes and looks forward to meeting a few of her four-legged friends. She is so cute that everyone wants to pet her, but she is rather shy with strangers.
From Ziggy’s guardians David and Suzanne Hoover
“We are grateful to HSBV for the work that they do in our community. In 1980, we adopted our first dog from the Humane Society and have been strong supporters of the organization. Saving animals so that they can have a better life and bring joy to families is a wonderful mission done well by HSBV.”
