What Is That Dog Saying? Workshop
Kids between the ages of 7-13 are invited to join Humane Society of Boulder Valley volunteer, Nicole Perelman, for a fun and interactive workshop on dog language. Participants will learn how dogs communicate using their voice, body, and behavior. Attendees will have the chance to role play and play games as part of this workshop. For children who live with or interact with dogs, this is a must-do workshop.
Parents are required to stay and personal dogs are not permitted for the workshop. Payment and registration is only needed for children.
Nicole Perelman teaches neurodivergent children and teens about animal behavior and communication via a Longmont-based nonprofit called Inclusive Acres. She’s the former manager of a dog rescue based out of California. Prior to the onset of the pandemic, she was a Family Paws Parent Educator.
