Danielle is a Karen Pryor Academy Certified Training Partner (KPA-CTP), an Associate Certified Dog Behavior Consultant (ACDBC), a Fear Free Certified Professional (FFCP), and Puppy Start Right Instructor.
After serving in the military as an Army medic, Danielle graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of North Carolina. Her career with animals began in shelters, then moved into veterinary medicine which led her to work with several board-certified veterinary behaviorists. Danielle owns her own training business and works part-time for the Humane Society of Boulder Valley. She is fortunate to work with all species, focusing on behavior. She contributed as a relief Training and Behavior Consultant in Puppy Club at the Humane Society of Boulder Valley before recently moving back to the Asheville, North Carolina area.
Danielle is passionate about continuing education and is a graduate of Dr. Susan Friedman’s Living and Learning with Animals course, attends conferences every year, and is a member of Thrive and Animal Training Academy.
She shares her home with her partner, two huskies, two Maremma livestock guardians, one cat, a flock of chickens, turkeys, and peacocks, as well as three mustangs and a small flock of sheep. She is excited to support you and your training goals
