Jackie Stonebraker

Training and Behavior Coordinator

Jackie is a Boulder native and graduated from the University of Colorado in 2012 with a degree in chemistry. A lifelong animal lover, she started volunteering at HSBV in 2017 and was instantly taken with the shelter. Soon she was employed as an Animal Care Attendant and participated in several volunteer roles. An interest in animal psychology and behavior led her to volunteer with HSBV’s Training and Behavior Center. She fell in love with training and helping animals overcome challenges and is thrilled to now be working as a Training and Behavior Coordinator. Jackie is currently working towards her CPDT-KA (Certified Professional Dog Trainer-Knowledge Assessed).

When not working with animals Jackie enjoys rock climbing, camping, and doing anything she can outside. She shares her home with her fiancé, two cats, and her rescue dog, Ada.
