Dr. Jennifer Bolser originally joined HSBV in 2005 after an internship at The Animal Medical Center in New York City. After spent five years working and living in Beijing, China and Chicago, IL, she resumed her role as Chief Veterinarian for HSBV’s public practice in 2020.

Dr. Bolser is proud of the innovation of the post-doctoral shelter medicine internship, and enjoys mentoring recent graduates. She seeks opportunities for new perspectives and has a passion for international veterinary efforts and education. She is a medical director for Spayathon For Puerto Rico and serves on the board of directors for the Association of Shelter Veterinarians.

Jennifer’s work has included shelter medicine, zoo/exotic medicine, and remote spay/neuter. She’s performed thousands of surgeries in over 20 unique locations globally. She is also certified in veterinary acupuncture.
