Originally from Michigan, Will first worked with animals directly out of college at a sanctuary for captive-born wolves. He also spent a year as an AmeriCorps volunteer and has worked as a farmer, outdoor educator, and substitute teacher. Starting as an Adoption Specialist with HSBV in 2010, Will held a variety of roles within the organization before joining the Training and Behavior department in 2018. He enjoys facilitating connections between animals and people, and figuring out the behavioral puzzles that animals present to us. Will lives in Longmont with his wife, two daughters, a dog, a guinea pig, and his banjo.
